Custom Mobile App Development
We develop mobile apps for iOS and Android that solve real problems: from digital products for startups to applications for customers or internal teams.
What kind of mobile apps do we make?
If your business needs a mobile application, the first step is not coding: it's understanding what problem it needs to solve.
At Blimbur we develop custom mobile apps using modern technologies that allow us to maintain a single codebase for iOS and Android without sacrificing quality or performance.
We work with both startups that want to launch their first app and companies that need mobile tools for customers, employees or field teams.
Each project is different, but the goal is always the same: create a useful, stable app that's ready to grow.
Typical cases
- Apps for startups
- Apps for customers
- Apps for field teams
- Apps with geolocation or notifications
- Apps connected to web platforms
- Internal apps for business management
Types of mobile apps we build
Not all mobile apps are the same. Based on the projects we've built, they typically fall into six main categories.
- Startup apps and MVPs: The first version of your digital product. The goal is to validate the idea as quickly as possible with minimum cost, without building features you don't yet know if you'll need.
- Internal management apps: For field teams, sales reps, or warehouse staff. They replace paper-based or spreadsheet processes: work orders, inventory, routes, time tracking. The end user is typically the employee, not the customer.
- Customer-facing apps: Marketplaces, booking systems, loyalty programs, or product catalogs. Apps your customers download to interact directly with your business from their phones.
- Location-based apps: Vehicle or technician tracking, zone assignment, route optimization. Common for service companies or logistics businesses that need real-time visibility of their assets or people.
- Apps connected to your web platform: If you already have a web system (ERP, CRM, e-commerce), we develop the mobile app as an extension of that system, sharing data in real time without duplicating business logic.
- Apps with integrated payments: Mobile e-commerce, subscriptions, or one-time payments. We integrate with Stripe, Redsys, or other payment processors depending on your needs.
How much does it cost to develop a custom mobile app?
It's the most common question and the hardest to answer without knowing the project. Here are real ranges based on similar projects:
- Simple MVP (1-2 main flows, no complex integrations): Between €1,500 and €5,000. Enough to validate an idea or launch a first functional version.
- Intermediate MVP (multiple flows, admin panel, 1-2 integrations): Between €5,000 and €25,000. The most common range for projects with a clear value proposition.
- Complex platform (advanced logic, multiple integrations): From €25,000. Fixed price from day one - no surprises at the end of the project.

For most projects, we use cross-platform technology: Flutter or React Native. This allows us to develop a single codebase that works on both iOS and Android, reducing time and cost without sacrificing quality or performance.
We choose native development (Swift for iOS, Kotlin for Android) when the project has very specific requirements: special hardware access, complex OS-level integrations, or performance needs that a cross-platform solution can't cover optimally.
In practice, more than 80% of the apps we develop are cross-platform. The performance difference for the end user is practically imperceptible, and the savings in time and cost are significant.
Typical timelines for a mobile app project
A well-defined MVP with an experienced team can be ready in 6-10 weeks. But the actual timeline depends on the project scope and how well-defined the requirements are from the start.
As a reference: a simple MVP can be delivered in 4-6 weeks, a medium-complexity app in 2-3 months, and a complex platform may need between 4 and 6 months.
What makes the biggest difference in timelines isn't just technical complexity - it's being clear from the start which features are essential for the first version and which can wait.
We work with weekly deliveries: every week you have a working version you can test on your own phone. No waiting months to find out if the result is what you expected.
What's included
Development process
Analysis and definition
We understand the problem the app needs to solve and define which features are priority.
UX/UI design
We work with your design if you have it, or we create it together from scratch thinking about user experience.
Development and testing
Iterative development with weekly deliveries and testing on real devices (iOS and Android).
Publication
We handle publication on App Store and Google Play, including ASO optimization.
Integrations and features
Authentication and users
Login with email, social networks (Google, Apple, Facebook) or custom systems.
Push notifications
Keep your users informed with relevant and personalized notifications.
Geolocation and maps
Location-based features: maps, routes, service areas, check-ins.
Integrated payments
Integration with Stripe, PayPal or custom payment gateways.
Camera and multimedia
Photo and video capture, QR code scanning, image processing.
Backend synchronization
Integration with your web platform, own API or existing systems.
Offline mode
The app works without connection and syncs when connectivity returns.
Other features
Each project is unique. If you need something specific not on the list, we develop it.

Frequently asked questions
It depends on the project scope. A simple app (login, lists, basic forms) can be ready in 3-6 weeks. Medium complexity apps (API integrations, payment gateways, geolocation) take 2-3 months. More complex projects (platforms with complex backend, advanced features) may need 4-6 months. We give you realistic estimates from day one.
It depends on the scope, but here are real ranges based on similar projects:
Simple MVP (1-2 main flows, no complex integrations): between €1,500 and €5,000. Enough to validate an idea or launch a first functional version.
Intermediate MVP (multiple flows, admin panel, 1-2 external API integrations): between €5,000 and €25,000. The most common range for projects with a clear value proposition.
Complex platforms (advanced logic, multiple integrations, specific scalability requirements): from €25,000.

We use cross-platform technology (Flutter or React Native) in most cases because it allows having iOS and Android with a single development, which reduces time and cost without sacrificing quality. We do native (Swift/Kotlin) when the project has very specific performance requirements, special hardware access or complex integrations with the operating system.
Yes, we handle the entire publication process on App Store and Google Play. This includes creating developer accounts (if you don't have them), preparing assets (icons, screenshots, descriptions), complying with each store's requirements and doing basic ASO optimization so your app is easier to find.
No problem, it's very common. We work on UX/UI design with you from scratch. First we understand how the app should work, then we create wireframes (sketches) to validate the flow, and then we design the visual interface. The entire design process is included in the development.
It depends on what you need. We can offer you a maintenance plan for updates, bug fixes and new features. Or we can hand over all the source code, documentation and access for you or your internal team to manage. You decide.
If the project requires it, yes. We can develop offline functionality so the app stores data locally when there's no connection and automatically syncs when connectivity returns. It's especially useful for field team apps or areas with poor coverage.
Yes, we work with weekly deliveries. Each week you have a functional version of the app you can test on your phone. This allows you to see real progress, give feedback and make adjustments before it's too late. No waiting 3 months blindly.
To give you a quote we need to understand what problem you want to solve with the app and who will use it. If you already have designs, defined features or references to similar apps, perfect. If not, no problem, we help you define it in a first 30-45 minute meeting.

What our clients say
Our clients' satisfaction is our best introduction.
